Coworking in Mexico City: what to look for before choosing one in 2026

The question isn't which coworking has the nicest lobby. The question is which one makes sense for your team, your budget, and the area where the people using it live.

CDMX is a huge city, and "it's close by" changes completely depending on which borough you're standing in. We surveyed exact addresses, desk and meeting room prices at active locations from two networks operating in the city — Chez vous and IOS — and found some patterns worth knowing before you book.

Before you start: three questions that change the answer

How many days a month will you use it? Below 8 days, paying per day is cheaper than a membership. From 10 days on, a monthly membership almost always wins. If you don't know yet, start paying per day and measure for a month before committing.

Where does your team live? CDMX is one of the largest cities in Latin America, and a thirty-minute difference in commute time is the norm, not the exception. A coworking in Reforma might be top-notch, but if your team lives toward Coyoacán, that distance feels every day. The best location isn't the one that shows up first on the list, it's the one your team can actually reach without friction.

Do you need a meeting room or just a desk? This is where prices vary most by location. We saw meeting rooms ranging from 12 dollars an hour to almost 180 — calculate the real cost of your typical workday, not just the desk price.

Juárez neighborhood: the corridor with the most coworks we surveyed

We start here because it's the most surprising finding. Four locations in our analysis share the same official neighborhood — Juárez, Cuauhtémoc borough —, the corridor that runs parallel to Paseo de la Reforma between Bucareli and Glorieta de la Palma.

Chez vous - Buca

On Bucareli avenue, one of the streets Time Out recognized among the most interesting in the world for its mix of heritage architecture and neighborhood life. It has the smallest and largest meeting rooms of our entire survey: from a 2-person room at USD 46/day to an event format for 50 people at USD 1.139/day.

Chez vous - Marsella

📍 Calle Marsella 81 · USD 23.50/day hot desk

Ten minutes walking from Buca, on a street known for its restored Porfiriato-era architecture. Watch out with this location if you're booking a room: the 3-person room costs more per hour (USD 17.50) than the 8-person room (USD 6.20/hour), but the 8-person one costs more per day. It's not an error on our part, that's how the pricing is set up — confirm it when you book.

IOS - Reforma 222

Same desk price as the rest of the IOS network, but with an address on the city's most recognized avenue. Useful detail: its two rooms —one for 3 people and one for 12— cost exactly the same, USD 423/day. If you need space for a large group, this location gives you more value than most.

IOS - Capital Reforma

This is the one that breaks the pattern. Capital Reforma is officially in the same Juárez neighborhood as the three previous locations — but its desk costs 40% more than Reforma 222's, just a few meters away. The difference isn't the neighborhood, it's the building: Capital Reforma is a 26-story tower facing the Mexican Stock Exchange, in the heart of the city's financial district, and that prestige carries a premium.

For whom: if you need a strong address to receive corporate clients, Reforma 222 gives you almost the same at a lower price. If the specific address matters (investors, due diligence, that kind of meeting), Capital Reforma justifies the difference.

Del Valle: the other Chez vous concentration

About 15-20 minutes by car from Reforma, on Insurgentes Sur, Chez vous has two locations in Del Valle neighborhood.

Chez vous - Valle

Right at the traffic circle that gives the neighborhood its name, a meeting point for the area since the early twentieth century and today surrounded by cafés and restaurants with terraces.

Chez vous - PH

A few blocks from Valle, on the same Insurgentes Sur. It has the largest meeting room of the entire Chez vous network outside of Buca: 15 people at USD 343/day.

For whom: teams that live or have clients on the south-center side of the city and want to avoid Reforma traffic. Same desk price, quieter area.

Cervantes Saavedra: both networks, side by side

This is the other finding worth highlighting. On Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra boulevard, the corridor connecting Polanco with Nuevo Polanco, Chez vous and IOS have locations a few blocks apart — and the meeting room prices show exactly what each brand is designed for.

Same street, desk at nearly the same price — but its only room (12 people) is the most expensive in our entire survey: almost 7 times more than the equivalent room at Chez vous, just a few blocks away.

For whom: if you only need a desk, on this boulevard it's practically the same which brand you choose. If you need a room, the difference is brutal and depends on what you're willing to pay for a Nuevo Polanco address for a one-off meeting.

Condesa: the neighborhood option

The only location in our survey in Condesa, with no meeting room listed — designed for individual desks in a neighborhood atmosphere, far from the corporate profile of Reforma.

Coyoacán: the southernmost location

Chez vous - Coyoacán

Steps from Jardín Centenario and Coyoacán's historic center. It's the only Chez vous location with extended hours (10:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. instead of the network's standard 8:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.), making it a different option for those working unconventional schedules.

Crédito Constructor: the most expensive meeting room in the city, outside Reforma

IOS - Citi Center

What the map doesn't tell you if you only look at individual prices

Put it all together: Chez vous charges the same desk price — USD 23.50/day — across its six locations, whether you're in Bucareli, Del Valle, Cervantes Saavedra, or Coyoacán. It's the only one of the two networks with flat pricing. IOS varies between USD 25.60 and USD 35.80 depending on the building, not the neighborhood — proof is that two of its most expensive and cheapest locations are in the same Juárez neighborhood.

Where the gap becomes huge is in the meeting rooms. Booking a small room at Chez vous Buca costs USD 46/day. Booking the room at IOS Cervantes costs USD 1.607/day. Same city, thirty-five times the difference.
